DETAILS:

Selena has passed along her knowledge and love of flora and fauna to her daughter, Ruby. During this days-long photo shoot while we were wandering through forests, meadows and beaches they would both identify flora constantly. Selena sometimes quizzing Ruby. And Ruby often showing her own excitement when discovering a plant, flower or fungi she recognized. Needless to say, I learned a lot about plants during this shoot! This image was created with my Holga camera and exhibits the hot pink/red lines from light leaking onto the film in-camera. The white hot bursts are from the the film being loosely rolled so the emulsion was exposed to light when removed from the camera. Except the top right hand corner. That’s simply the sun. You can see more of this effect on the photo named “Chaotic.” The film used was Kodak Ektar 100 ISO.

• Prints are created using archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta fine art photo paper.

• Limited editions are signed and numbered by Ashley

• 10x10, 20x20, 30x30 are editions of 20

• 40x40 are editions of 10

• Frames are custom made white or maple-style wood with a white acid-free window mat and either conservation glass or UV protectant, non-abrasive, non-glare plexiglass depending on the size.

• Unframed prints ship approximately 10-12 business days from date of order plus transit via USPS. Framed prints ship approximately 4-6 weeks from date of order plus transit via FEDEX. Framed prints take approximately 2 weeks to ship.
