DETAILS:

When making the decision to include this image in the series, I found myself saying both “The light and color in this print is chaotic, I like it” and “The light and color in this print is chaotic, I do not like it.” Most of the images are intentionally peaceful, quiet. I chose to briefly expose the film to the sun which created the blasts of white in addition to the hot pink/red that results from in-camera light leaks. The decision was intentional as was the outcome. While I feel the chaos, the feedback has been that most see it as a peaceful image and I love that too.

I created this with a Holga camera, Kodak Ektar 100 ISO film and extra exposure to light.

• Prints are created using archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta fine art photo paper.

• Limited editions are signed and numbered by Ashley

• 10x10, 20x20, 30x30 are editions of 20

• 40x40 are editions of 10

• Frames are custom made white or maple-style wood with a white acid-free window mat and either conservation glass or UV protectant, non-abrasive, non-glare plexiglass depending on the size.

• Unframed prints ship approximately 10-12 business days from date of order plus transit via USPS. Framed prints ship approximately 4-6 weeks from date of order plus transit via FEDEX. Framed prints take approximately 2 weeks to ship.
